House Fellowship Constitution


​The Constitution of House Fellowship

Aliorum Opera Semper. In English means “Always in the Service of Others.” All members of House Fellowship must live by a code that values putting the conditions of others before their own. They must be ready and willing to work, live, and serve our school, our community, and our world.

Article I- House Structure
The house is set up into 5 officer positions: President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Sergeant at Arms. Responsibilities of each officer position is as follows.
President- In charge of delegating responsibilities, communicating on behalf of the house, and holding house meetings.
Vice President- Takes over President’s responsibilities when President is not able to lead and play devil’s advocate.
Secretary- Job consists of amending the Constitution when the House elects them to do so.
Treasurer- Treasurer must maintain the finances of the house.
Sergeant at Arms- Job consists of maintaining order within the task and making sure that each member is on task.

Article II- Amending the Constitution
To make amends to the Constitution the house must have a meeting to amend the constitution and vote on the issue. Members of each side of the issue must give a speech to state their case then the house will vote on the issue. Amendment will be added by the Secretary after a majority vote.

Article III- Declarations of War
In times of great need the President will call a meeting with the house to vote on whether or not to go to war. House members must have a speaker from each side give a speech on the decision to go to war. The house can only go to war after a majority vote. War can be declared on:

Clubs
Classes
​Other Academies

Article IV- Reasons for Banishment from the house
The President reserves the right to ban members if they commit any of the following atrocities: Bullying, Hazing, Harassment, Stealing, and Cheating. Other reasons for banishment can be decided further in a house meeting.
